Vivantio Service Desk v2.5 includes new features such as:

  • Full CMDB (Configuration Management Database) functionality
  • Relationships between assets e.g. Belongs to, is installed on, child/parent etc.
  • Asset status & full asset audit trail
  • Business rules for inbound email processing
  • Viewing attachments via Self Service
The major new feature introduced in Version 2.5 is the extended functionality of the Asset Management area. The Asset Management area has been further developed in line with ITIL principles and now offers full CMDB (Configuration Management Database) functionality.

Other improvements include custom email templates that are sent to end users, improved searching across actions and solutions, additional custom fields that are available when closing a call and new processing rules for the email service.
