Our legal partners The Head Partnership are running a series of workshops this summer designed to help Suppliers and Customers understand and manage the risk inherent in all contracts for IT Services.
We recommend these free workshops if you are an:
- Owner/Manager of an IT Services company
- IT Director or Business owner who is considering outsourced IT Services.
- Taking advantage of your legal and commercial opportunities
- Protecting you against liabilities;
- A workshop to prepare you for contract negotiations;
Failing to agree and document contractual terms leave you open to liabilities and defective systems.
Customers and Suppliers must:-
- identify, analyse and accept the appropriate levels of risk inherent in all contracts for IT Services;
- put in place the correct type and format of contract that best reflects the true relationship between Customer and Supplier;
- understand and negotiate the terms dealing with the impact of TUPE regulations at the time a customer changes its supplier of IT Services or outsources the role;
- negotiate, agree and incorporate into the contract the key contractual issues that govern and control the supply of IT Services;
- agree the levels of liability for breach of contract by either a Customer or Supplier;
- incorporate the appropriate termination clauses into the contract;
- document provisions for dealing with disputes or default by either party.
